Key takeaways
  • Second Sea access lets you join normal raids; hosting has a higher level requirement and requires a chip.
  • A normal raid has five islands, and clearing consistently with a balanced group matters more than trying to carry too early.
  • Plan the awakening moves you need before spending Fragments, especially when you are also saving for styles, races, or stat resets.

Raid access and hosting

Raids take place in Second and Third Sea. Current documentation lists level 700 or Second Sea access for joining and level 1100 for hosting a normal raid. A normal host buys a Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist with 100,000 Beli or an eligible physical fruit.

How a normal raid works

A normal raid progresses through five islands. Every enemy on the current island must be defeated before the next island opens, and the fifth island ends with a boss. The standard party size is four players.

Do not split across the map when the team lacks damage. Move together, pull enemies into overlapping area attacks, and enter the next island with enough health and energy. If you are being carried, survival is your contribution—dying removes your Fragment reward.

Awaken moves in the right order

Completing the raid that matches your equipped awakenable fruit leads to the awakening room, where moves are purchased with Fragments. Buy the move that changes your main loop first. Buddha players usually prioritize the transformation; mobility or a dependable damage move may be the first priority for another fruit.

  • Confirm the raid type matches the fruit you intend to awaken.
  • Write down the Fragment cost of the next move before spending on rerolls or other systems.
  • A partial awakening can already solve a build problem; full awakening is not always the first priority.

Advanced raids and common mistakes

Phoenix and Dough use advanced raid access with additional unlock requirements and a more expensive chip. Treat them as later projects: verify that the host has unlocked the raid, bring players who understand the mechanics, and budget both chip and awakening costs before beginning.

  • Do not pay untrusted players outside the supported game interface for a promised carry.
  • Do not start before slow-loading teammates enter the chamber.
  • Do not use high-knockback attacks that scatter a group unless they prevent a dangerous enemy action.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What level do I need for raids in Blox Fruits?

Current raid documentation lists Second Sea access or level 700 for joining and level 1100 for hosting a normal raid.

How many players can join a normal raid?

The supported standard party is up to four players. Do not plan around glitches that claim to exceed the intended party size.

Do I need to fully awaken Buddha for grinding?

No. The transformed reach and durability are the core of the common grinding route, so awakening the transformation is the usual first target. Additional moves are optional progression choices.
